26 Aug Optimizing image alt name tags
Each image tag allows for an alt name tag that should be optimized for SEO. The wording in this alt tag will be used by Google Crawlers to help determine search placement in the Google image search. Originally the alt tags in images were great for when the image was missing. It would physically show the wording that was the alt or alternative name of the image. Now that we are in a more advanced SEO world, I’d always fill this in and once again get the extra advantage in Google Image Search which is big time. If your competitors don’t all fill in the alt tags, well, you should and get that leg up on them.
