Building Quality BackLinks By Attending Conferences

I used to be a speaker at several industry conferences such as Idate or DMA Marketing.  When you sign up as a speaker you get a few benefits including free conference attendance.  From an SEO point of view, getting a backlink on an established conference site is worth its weight in SEO gold.  That’s why when signing up to be a speaker it’s important to add your website name as well as your social links.  In addition, Idate used to post a local video that was backlinked to my website as well.  Having video or another content on a page with a backlink is even stronger.
