Yoast General Meta Description
Make sure you don’t set a Meta Description default in the overall Yoast settings.  Leave this blank.


Yoast Page Meta Description
Make sure you don’t set a Meta Description in the Yoast page itself.  Leave this blank on the template page only.


Yoast Page Titles
Make sure you don’t set a Yoast Title in the page itself.  Leave this blank on the template page only.


Qode Theme and Other SEO Theme settings
Some themes like Qode have SEO fields built into the page.  Make sure you leave all these fields blank on the template page only.
